Welcome! Here’s how this works. You’ve got three ways to get a Sew Kinky Threads piece made for you: pick one of my existing patterns, bring me your own photo for something totally custom, or ask for a recreation of a piece I’ve already made. Everything’s available as a hoop or a canvas, hoops run smaller and more playful, canvases give the piece room to breathe. Pricing is set by tier and size for patterns and photo commissions. If you saw a piece on my site or elsewhere that you’d like a recreation of, those are quoted individually, message me and we can talk it through. Oh, and if you’re a fan of my Rainblow piece, good news, recreations of that one are available too.

Before you start
Pick your pattern or send me your photo.
Choose hoop or canvas, and your size.
I’ll confirm the pattern with you before I start. You get two rounds of back and forth for small tweaks.
50% is due up front to get started.
When the outline is done, I’ll send you a photo to review. This is your chance to back out. If you do, there’s no refund, but you’ll get a credit for what you put down toward a future piece, good for one year.
When the piece is finished, I’ll send a photo of the final result. The remaining 50% plus shipping is due then. If you back out at this point, there’s no refund and no credit.

Have a photo you’re dying to see stitched? Turning it into a pattern is a flat $25, simple as that. Want something dreamed up from scratch, or major changes to an existing pattern? That’s a different beast, reach out and I’ll quote you based on the labor involved.

9x12 is the standard Rainblow lead size. 11x14 and up always ships framed.
